Theory of Operation: As the magnet rises and falls along the stem it induces a tortional shift on the pulsed signal. This pulse is measured in time to accuratly reflect the distance to magnet ie level. Changes in temperature or pressure do not effect any change On the pulse. Magnetostrictive is extremly accurate down to .01 percent of Full Scale.
